Let's try this again. We're going to have a go at the "this is what I did with my day" brand of livejournal post.
I got up this morning at about five, which wasn't so bad. I dilly-dallied a little less that usual, because I had to return Michelle's car, having driven it home last night after an evening of Queer as Folk and marvelous German wine. Got to work and immediately fell asleep for about an hour. Did I mention that I really like my job sometimes. Not always, not even often, but once in a great while it's really good. The day went on, and my foot started to hurt, due to the ligament I tore playing tennis about a month ago. Oh well. Another hour-long nap around lunchtime, a bit more work, and it's time to go home. Maybe today is the day that I finally get my resume in order after work so I can apply for that supervisor positon. No? Okay, what do I do instead? Hmm...that sounds good too. So in lieu of revamping my resume, I picked a pint an a half of raspberries in my backyard and walked to the little taco place down the street for dinner. It was nice. The I started drinking like I do every night. I have a sneaking suspicion that this might have something to do with my lack of productivity, but I'm not sure. I suppose I'll just keep doing it until someone can prove that it's actually a problem. Dan came home and we alternated between darts and pool while listening to the Twins game. They won. We were happy and had a shot of Glenfiddich to celebrate. Now I'm here, telling you about my day. That's about it. Oh, and someone at work said I'm a snob because I read the New Yorker. But he's an ass, so fuck him.
Thanks for reading, you've been great.
